ABSTRACT. The second part of the study dedicated to the narrative biblical catechesis applies this approach to catechesis itself. The first step consists of the retelling of the biblical text. The second step includes the examination of the four elements of the text: structure, protagonists, context and symbolic language. Interpretative tools used in this part of the analysis correspond to the procedures characteristic of narrative analysis. The third step leads the participants of the catechesis from text to life through activities which enable them to give testimony to the studied text.

The description of these three steps provides not only their theoretical exposition, but also practical tips for the realisation of the proposed model.

ABSTRACT. Bible animation in the catechesis seeks to build up contemporary man intellectually and spiritually through creating in him an interest in the Bible, love for its reading and through revealing the supernatural power of the Word of God. Pope Benedict XVI in his latest Adhortation „On the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church” has recommended the use of Biblical animation in ministry in general, and especially in catechesis (VD 73-75). Biblical animation of the catechesis will contribute towards increasing the level of acquaintance with both the person and fully revealed deity of Christ. The Living Word present in the Church, is repeatedly cleansing, refreshing and actuating the Church. It is noticeable that God’s Word is bearing good fruit in the Polish reality too. In recent days many new initiatives, organizations, Bible Study groups and home fellowships have been formed where the Word of God ‘’increased rapidly” (Acts 6: 7). This new impulse has been brought about by a real renaissance of the ‘lectio divina’ method and by dynamic development of social media.

ABSTRACT. Both the synod of bishops summoned by Pope Benedict XVI and the publication of the post-synod exhortation “Verbum Domini” aimed at reviving the faith of the Church in the Word of God. In the document, the Pope depicts the proposals of the repair programme for the state of awareness of the significance of the Bible in the lives of contemporary believers. He also includes the catechetic activity of the Church in the programme. The possibilities of joining in the processes of reviving the contacts with the Holy Bible should be connected with the effort to familiarize contemporary believers with the truth about the Word of God. It means discovering that it is above all the living and acting God, present in human history. Only then, by way of analogy, can we talk about the Word of God, through which God reveals Himself and His redemptive intentions to man. These assumptions appear to be the foundation of the revival that the Pope meant. This, in turn, requires from the catechesis of the Church the support offered to contemporary believers in their search for the answer to the question about the significance of the stories about God acting in history found in the Bible as applied to their lives. One may also say that this particular dimension of the contacts with the book of the Holy Bible will largely determine the success of papal initiatives concerning reviving the faith in the Word of God.

ABSTRACT. In the field of the catechetical studies there is a continuous search for an effective model of biblical catechesis. The kerygmatic and anthropological models of biblical catechesis do not seem to fully respect the narrative character of the Bible, which is a “testified testimony” (P. Ricoeur) about the word of God. This process of transmission of the revelation is used in the catechesis undertaken by Jesus for his two disciples on the way to Emmaus (Lk 24,13-25). Jesus’s interpretation of the Scripture consists of three steps: (1) “from life to biblical text” – first reading as a retelling of the text, (2) “in biblical text” – an interpretation respecting the narrative character of the text, (3) “from text to life” – the following testimony about the text. This three-step interpretation will serve as a model for the narrative biblical catechesis, which will be presented in the next issues of “Katecheta”.

ABSTRACT. The revised core curriculum of catechesis of the Catholic Church in Poland introduces the principle on the need to create Individual Catechetical Programs for persons with intellectual disability. This is due to their specific development and experience of the Church in conducting them on the road of faith. According to the revised core curriculum catechists from schools for people with intellectual disability work on individual programs developed annually.

The article is an implementation of these indications and has been developed for pupils with moderate intellectual disability and autism. It has been prepared with particular attention to all the tasks of catechesis which are ways to achieve the basic objectives of catechesis. Serve primarily to accompany each student in establishing an authentic dialogue with God.

Celem wychowania do wartości jest uzyskanie dojrzałości aksjologicznej, oznaczającej możliwie wewnętrznie spójną orientację aksjologiczną we wszystkich sferach życia (wymiar ogólny) i przyjmowanie wobec niej konsekwentnego stosunku do konkretnych wartości (wymiar szczegółowy)[3].

Skuteczny przebieg wychowania do wartości i przez wartości zależy od zaistnienia pewnych warunków i realizacji kilku zasad.
